Any Deals on Desktop PC for light gaming?

I've had my pc for about 10 years and it's been a good one but it's become a paper weight after deciding it no longer wants to run.
I only use it for light gaming like Civ 6 and older MMORPG's like WoW, Everquest, Everquest 2 and a few others. I don't play games like Call of Duty and such because of motion sickness.
I'm looking for a replacement but I'm not sure what I'm looking for and thought you guys might be able to help. I don't really want to spend a lot of money and have a budget of $1000. Is this doable? I'm not sure about newer games and if I'd even be interested in playing those and maybe you guys can show me if I'm missing anything I need to consider. Anyway, if you have questions that I need to answer let me know and I'll try to be quick to respond.

Are you willing to learn to build your own or just want a pre-built system?

Saw a Dell XPS i7 yesterday for $849 w/ on board video. If this year's model is like last year's i9 that I bought, I would recommend it. It was the first really quiet Dell I have purchased, and best overall since the 90s.
.. I don't play games, so I do not know the specs you need. If you can use your old video card, I'm guessing you'd be fine. If not, it likely would be over your budget because of the cost of a video card.

Yeah, not much left to salvage. I got a great 10 years from it and am ready to move on.
I don’t really Want to build one so a pre-built is s what I’m looking for.

Just checking...
quote:. . . that's something a gamer might have upgraded over the years. I had upgraded for AV/TV reason's and don't even game.
Highly unlikely.

Nah, I think I did early on but it’s still not that great. Thinking new ones will be better.
