Anyone have any experience with these? I was thinking about just adding one to my existing wifi. All I really need is two total signal points and this would be a cheaper route then getting an entire mesh system.

Haven't used them, but here was a write up from someone that seems to be pretty open about the process of setting them up and some quirks:

I use one in my home. Main router is in my office and I have one unit in the basement and one on the 2nd floor. Throughput has been excellent and I've had no problems. Had it for over a year now. Handles all our stuff - phones, tablets, smart tv's 3 computers. No complaints.

Perfect. Our router reaches most of the house. We are just adding a tv to our patio and the signal is really weak since it’s on the other side of the house from the router. TV upstairs is on a power line so not that concerned with having a super strong signal up there.
