Amazon Wiya smart cam with onboard card

I just activated a spare one of these and the app seems buggy, Have had one for several years and it seems buggy too now, not recognizing the card and seems to want to push me to the cloud service. Amazon no longer sells this version and im not finding much information on the app. Are these wifi cameras able to work with other apps? TIA.
