Amazon Echo/Alexa Routine - Barking Dogs

this is pretty random, but I have not been able to find anything on the Internet, and I was hoping that maybe someone here has tried this.
Amazon has added to the smart home routine programming the possibility of a “trigger event” based upon your dog’s barking, child crying, water running and a few other “noises.” In other words, you can write a routine in which a barking dog will trigger your system to perform a whole host of actions (e.g. play soothing music).
I have large dogs. They bark loudly. For some reason, the barking is NOT triggering the routine that I wrote. Has anyone tried this? did you have any success?

I got it to work using a barking dog video off YouTube. I noticed a couple things. By default it only runs on weekdays 8am to 5pm. And it takes a minute of barking to trigger the routine.
