I've been using Alexa devices in every room to control such activities as automatically and verbally turning lights on/off via smart bulbs and smart plugs, monitoring the Ring Doorbell, Cameras and Alarm systems and controlling some A/V equipment and Echo speakers in every room. The Alexa app allows me to be pretty creative setting up Routines- such as turning kitchen and master bedroom lights on automatically when I return home between certain hours during the night when entering from my garage and triggering the laundry room door sensors. Another other simples uses people are using with their Alexa, Google or Apple hubs? I have a pretty elaborate home entertainment system and controlling this has been problematic as it appears some of the equipment (such as a Panasonic plasma TV) is simply not compatible but I can live with it until I find a workaround. Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated!
