And I also did mention this in my first comment.
we are talking about devices you have to talk to to get them to work...... so idk how that isnt "a huge difference" for you...... i mean that is the MAIN purpose of these things.

but really what is an Echo going to do with Ring to make it a better alternative over a home? and we are talking echo and home, not echo shows and whatever versions of google home video screens there are. because when the video integration happens it will also happen on the ring app that the google home screen is running. just like your phone
Skills, there are already Ring skills that work outside the ring app. Ring is not only video, I have the alarm system as well. You do not need the Ring app running, it's a much more native closed system experience.

I have both and overall I much rather Alexa devices in general. I said Google had better AI integration and software (specifically when talking to it), but to ME it isn't by much. Majority of things we ask get answered by both. I'm not sure what else you're trying to argue here . I also like that my Echo Show and Spot also allows me to simply say "Alexa, show me my front door" and 2 seconds later the live stream of my Ring doorbell is on the screen.

Alexa and it's not even close right now.

You haven't disproved shite that I've said, but keep thinking that. All you do is write a bunch of gibberish rebuttals. You literally haven't disproven one single thing I first said.

Alexa is compatible with like twice the amount of devices that Google is able to connect with.
This is a FACT, look it up idiot.
quote:
If you already have an Amazon Prime membership, then I'd go with Alexa because you can easily link everything together.
Again, this is a FACT...so again, you sound like a retard.
quote:
Alexa (Echos) is the much better device especially at integrating music (Pandora, Spotify, IHeartRadio, etc) into there devices and making them easily playable on whichever device you choose.
FACT again. Alexa devices support more music platforms and the new Show blows Google out of the water when it comes to sound.
quote:
I will say this though, the one thing Google has on Alexa is their AI software and basically understanding what you are asking it. It's not a huge difference to me though.
FACT again, as I stated to begin with.

I am a google user but couldnt care less about this debate. They both work but a few points
just as easy if you have a gmail account and those are free
Doesnt really matter as most people only have one or two types of devices like this and they probably integrate with both companies just fine.
This is a slight lean to google, like you stated
Most of all of your points really are moot in terms of being better for a person

the dude is a loon. I one both and liek the HOme better but not by a ton. Mainly because Alexa could understand a complete sentence, 100% of the time. And this is the point of these right?
So i called the loon out because he he claimed this was so lop sided in one direction. Then he gets butthurt someone calls him out.

I have one of these sitting in a box I got for free as a Spotify customer. I haven't seen anything it does that would make my life better, so I haven't bothered to mess with it. What's the big deal with these?
