I've tried all the "fixes" on google.
They are charged and clean. I've un-paired and re-paired, disconnected and reconnected, done the volume all the way down on the phone and pods and then connect.
Nothing is working...anyone got any other fixes?
They are first gen so maybe it's just time to upgrade but would like to get through my upcoming flight first.

My right airpod was extremely low and I tried to clean it as they recommend but, it wouldn't fix it.
I accidently washed them in my jeans (not the charging case, just the airpods). When I pulled them out the washing machine, I stuck them in a cup of rice overnight. They both still work and the right one is back to normal.
ETA...Not recommending, I'm just saying!

Get a can of compressed air and blow the earwax out of them. After that, clean with alcohol pad and blow again.
