Wife and daughter just got one and we’re going to pair it to their phones. We’re on T Mobile. Do I have to go to a store to get it set up or can I do it from the phone? It’s a birthday gift for my daughter and my wife likes the idea of being able to have access to calls and texts when she doesn’t always have her phone on her.

You actually do it from the watch. During set up it asks you to pick your provider. I suggest going to the store though, because T-Mobile will give you 3 months free.

Just did this for my wife last week, and with AT&T you have to go through the AT&T app, or at least that was the only way I could get it to work.

Thanks. I’ll give their app a shot.

And another question, are there any legit ways to check online if an older iPhone is unlocked? We have a 6 just collecting dust that we’re going to add to our service. But when I tried the SIM card I got a message saying it wasn’t compatible. Makes me think the carrier, probably AT&T, didn’t unlock it a few years back.

Got it hooked up tonight. $10 a month but three months free. Easy to set up. Thanks.
