I'm looking to get a new laptop. I've narrowed it down to this one, but any input on it would be great.

I have last year's model (only difference is the CPU), and it's an excellent machine for the price. If you don't need/want an ultra portable hybrid/touch screen, it's pretty much the best value under 600. Battery life is still pretty damn good.
A couple months ago I dropped mine and broke the screen, replaced it with a $70 IPS panel and now it's even better.

Have a small batch of those floating around at work. No major issues so far. The thing about Acer is their components are pretty interchangeable across models so it's easy to find keyboards/screens if needed and not pay out the arse.

Bought this one about 6 months ago. No complaints at all until my kid spilled apple juice on it. Great machine.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up pulling the trigger on this version of it from newegg on sale for $569.99.
