I just signed up, and got an email welcoming me to family plan. Still no email about the google mini. Did your email come right away or did it take a while?

My email for the Mini came immediately after signing up for the family plan. I actually signed my wife up too and we got a 2nd Mini...winning!

I got mine 2 days ago I have a bunch of echoes dont find any real difference in them but for 1.00 its worth it

You don't have to wait for email go to Google Express put mini in cart then go to checkout will show discount at checkout

Yep. Took about an hour but got the email. Took me to the google store and showed -$49 for a balance of $0. Thanks!

Hey all- thanks for the heads up! Just upgraded from premium to premium family to add my old lady who was using the free version. Got the Google Home Mini email immediately, placed the order and it said it should arrive in the first week of Jan. Didn't charge me anything. Not even the .99

I used PayPal. Got an email for the 99 cents, then when I upgraded to the family plan I got another email saying that Spotify did an authorization for a penny. Only the 99 cents actually hit my PayPal account.
You can log into your PayPal account, click on the settings gear, then payments and manage your automatic payments. You can then revoke Spotify so they don't have permission to charge any more to your PayPal account.
