All of our phones batteries recently started running down fast. Only thing new is 5G upgrade? 3 different phones. Or new update causing this. Anyone else seeing this?

That is the battery life estimates of the S22+, S22, and S22 Ultra. 5G definitely drains the battery faster.

5G is a well known battery hog. There really isn't much of a point using it with general browsing. If you are uploading/downloading large files to your phone all day then go for it.

Not uploading or downloading files so not sure why all of a sudden, I notice it on three different IPhones.

I think it is one of those "ignorance is bliss" things. It has always been there and most dont notice it. Then when you do see it/notice it, you cant help but see it everywhere.
but if you go read all the phone reviews/tests since 5G, they are all universally consistent about turning off 5G for improved battery life.
