If this result holds, Sweden and Mexico will be tied in 1st.

Wish we had a deal with Adidas . The Unis are so much cleaner . I like the last kits but Adidas always look great .

I think if a player stops play by lying down they shouldn't be allowed to immediately come back on.

They aren't stopping an attack unless it's a head injury or something very serious. So does it really matter?

As a fan it's annoying watching play stopped for two-three minutes for a guy that's clearly not hurt.. If someone stops play over nothing like Berg did, he should have to wait one-two minutes to come back on.

Players obviously take advantage of it, but the referees can’t ignore someone writhing on the ground in what looks like pain.

It isn’t and shouldn’t be up to the referees to dictate what is and isn’t an actual injury. The players are supposed to police this themselves by not doing it, if you want to blame someone it’s the players you’re looking for.

Looks like Belgium is starting the wrong Hazard.

I'm not making them have to. I'm fine with them stopping the play, but if a player causes that to happen, make him stand on the touchline for a couple of minutes. If the guy is actually hurt, he probably won't be ready to come back in immediately anyways.

If the guy can stand and it's not a head injury, why should the ref make him stay off the field?

That was the worst game I've watched so far, but it got kind of interesting at the end.

To discourage players from trying to stop play when they aren't seriously injured.

Sweden had 2 point blank chances in the first half that they shouldve buried, but i guess they aren't used to having good looks at goal

The only problem with that is it encourages hard fouls since you'll gain an advantage by getting that person to sit out for a short time. Granted, you risk a yellow or red card by fouling hard.
