Why has Brasil not worn their blue shorts?

They arguably have one of the most recognizable World Cup uniforms over the years. Does anybody know why they changed to white shorts? New FIFA rule that maybe shorts and socks must match? Hell I don't know.....

Colombia is wearing blue shorts, therefore Brazil cannot wear its traditional blue shorts.

Host country usually gets to wear their preferred home shirt for all of the games. Then the away team picks its kit, including shorts. This is just conjecture on my part.

I think I remember seeing Brazil in white shorts in their previous game. Correct me if I'm wrong.
