This story is great. Morecambe FC of national league was a day from being dissolved because their owner was a POS and club was bankrupt
An Indian consortium called Punjab Warriors bought them on August 17. The. League pushed back their first game. They had FIVE players under contract
They hire a 29 year old Sikh as manager who was an assistant for a few years at Leicester. They signed 12 players this week
One signed last night.
He scored game winner in 98th today

The manager was born March 29, 1995. Guy looks like someone that would manage a EA Sports FC club than an actual club.
Awesome story.

The Shrimps are a great story and they have a surprisingly large and loyal fan base for a historically small club. There's only about 35,000 folks in Morecambe and I imagine they compete with Blackpool and Preston North End for fan support given their close proximity.
