Anyone watch the new “We are LAFC” show on ESPN+?
If not, I recommend it. Even if you aren’t a fan, it’s pretty cool to see some of the behind the scenes work that went on to start the franchise.
It’s pretty crazy how they built one of the most successful franchises so quickly, but then again $$$ helps solve most problems.

Just got ESPN+ last weekend, so I plan to check it out soon.
This morning I watched the Losers episode on Netflix about Torquay United. That was pretty good.

It's pretty easy if your owner is willing to spend the money on good DPs. Atlanta did the same thing. You start with a clean slate, have ~2 years to build a roster, start with more TAM and GAM than the rest of the league, get an expansion draft, and the first pick in the SuperDraft.

I know a few of the guys on the business side, and they are doing pretty good stuff. They visited Atlanta United a good bit to learn from them.

I love LAFC’s branding and vibe. Bob comes off a little meh but whatevs.

I watched the whole series last week. Very fascinating to see the inner workings of the team and front office. Bob Bradley is very intense. LAFC is basically the dream version of what Chivas USA was supposed to be, but never reached due to poor management and ownership. LAFC already has a huge following.
There probably won’t be a Season 2, but I hope there is, and they cover this season. It should be a great season for LAFC. They should challenge for all three domestic trophies.
What’s crazy is they have a lot of room to improve their already stacked roster. It wouldn’t surprise me if they cut bait with Andre Horta over the summer and sign a better DP to bolster the team even further. He’s been disappointing in his time on the field, and seems to be in Bob Bradley’s doghouse.
