in real time it looked like a foul and the itv guys said the same there was no way he could have blown that call being 4 feet from it

The ref didn't get to watch a replay. So you suck worse than a youth ref by your own admission. Thus, I will stand by the half that I saw and the ref being much better than you are willing to admit.

I watched the last 70 minutes and have dozens of Brits live tweeting the match on my Twitter feed

wtf kinda logic is that
seeing it on a camera 100 feet away in real time =/= seeing it in person 4 feet away

Look, you are obviously biased and have hard on for England. The ref was fair.

no you clearly lack any logic
and the ref was fricking awful esp in the first half. He can hang his hat on no blowing two calls he was 4 to 5 feet away from

Why don't you go cry?
The ref was horrible.....

Really aren't FWIW. I don't follow fan boys. The professional journalists I follow are very fair.
And like I said, the ref brought a bad reputation going into the match. He is very strict and very harsh (I remember reading that he averages 6 yellow cards a match - gave out 9 tonight). He also gave out 10 cards in one of the Euro matches he refereed. You don't remember the Portuguese outrage when he was announced to ref the match between Portugal and Spain?

I'm sure I don't follow as many as you, but I know of the couple, I follow, neither mentioned poor refereeing as the cause for result. They both did mention England didn't play well.

Yeah, that makes sense. Who do you support? Oh that's right. You don't know the game any better than anyone on here.....well except for TnBhoy, but that's a different situation.

Neither did mine. I observed the refereeing. Good journalists won't mention bad refereeing. I was just responding to you saying I didn't watch the match. I basically watched the whole thing since I watched 70 minutes and was reading the Tweets from the first 20.

I don't think they deserved to win because of their overall play. A draw was a fair result. They did miss 3 sitters though. Lampard was very poor throughout the match (and I love Lampard).
Konoplyanka is brilliant. Hope LFC go after him in January.

been a man united supporter for id say 16 years when i started following european soccer been playing the game since i was 7 and im now 27 yea my knowledge is alot more than most and my post seem to be very rational and level headed as for Bhoy him and I have been battling about the old firm since the MSB days when he was normal.

I already knew this. That was my point. You are used to watching refs hand out PK's to your team like a fricking Pez dispenser.
Posted on 9/11/12 at 4:23 pm to Bho
And the Brits on my feed are making fun of Hodgson for saying "The first 15 minutes we weren't at our best. The next 75 minutes we dominated the game totally."

Is the view from the dugout really poor? Could Roy not see the pitch?
