Seattle has long had a "When you're ready" offer verbalized to Morris, but apparently they gave him a written contract yesterday prior to the game that was, according to Taylor Twellman, the largest Home-Grown-Player contract ever in MLS.
It'll be interesting to see if he takes it, finishes college, or goes to Europe.

Where did you hear about this contract? Seattle need to lock him down ASAP. Lamar Neagle is about to become surplus goods, and he's been playing lately as if he knew it.

Neagle isnt going to be surplus. He's just not going to be a guaranteed starter. Strange tidbit I learned the other day: Neagle is eligible to play for the Ireland squad. Unexpected.

You would know that fact 
Neagle doesn't seem to me like a guy that would be ok playing a reduced role on that team.
