Did you watch the game ?
Answer honestly, how do you think the refs fared ? Do you think that disallowed goal should have counted ? Just curious.

Yea but when it will actually count.

tim howard fricked that FK up he should have knocked it over, it was like he was bout to get it and saw a butterfly and tim said. "hey you beautiful little butterfly do you like my shinny bald head?" Our Central defense needs to be rebuilt it sucks, Boconegra is good, but i doubt he makes it to the WC. i don't know what the frick landon was doing today it was like he stops every time he saw a defender with the exception of two times. Altidore should have continued his run, no reason to stop, and they should have got an advantage call. anyway we came out with a point, and we have two months to rest

We beat many of those Euro teams, like Poland. Understand this: away games in CONCACAF will always be hard no matter how talented we are. Mexico barely beat El Salvador tonight.

Alright. I believe you. Didn't think someone would stoop that low.
The State remark is mostly due to me being freaking hacked at what happened tonight. But I still will fight you about the earlier crap you said.

It would be nice to have a couple stud centerbacks. I remember a time when Oneywu gave me some hope.

We beat Italy for the first time just a few weeks ago.

With that being said. This game should have been 2-1. Guatemala is a very dirty team. It's not like the Euro's because CONCACAF teams don't have the ability to play like that. So the majority of them play the counter attacking style. If we played teams that were opened up more. Our passing would be more crisp and their would be lanes for us to exploit. Their mids played pretty deep. IMO.
Also, if we had an EURO ref. Altidore might have drawn a PK and he would have probably scored. That would be 3-1 USA. It'd be a great result.
But, a Win at home and a draw away isn't a bad result. We still have Jamaica in Columbus on Sept 11, Jamaica in Jamaica, and Guatemala in Livestrong park. Livestrong Park is one of the best stadiums and should be an US fortress.

We beat Italy a couple months ago, idiot.

This isn't the fricking AP Poll. England is 6th and they aren't that good at all. There are so many questionable calls in the FIFA ranking. At one point the US was #3, I do believe.

So if we are one of the top 2 teams in group A, we qualify for the WC?

Rule #1: FIFA rankings are hogwash for the most part. Anything that ranks England that high is laughable.
Rule #2: Top-End UEFA Teams >>>>>>>>>>> CONCACAF. Fact of life. We could hang with some teams in Euro this year, but let's not go out and say we could take down Germany, KNVB, or Spain right off the bat.
