Zamparini drops a bombshel

This guy loves bombastic media statement. Let's see what he'll say in his next interview in about 3 minutes.

I'll still be a bit surprised to not see Pastore go to one of the usual big$ suspects instead of PSG.

The only reason Roma was mentioned so much is that Sabatini is the one who brought Pastore to Palermo and they supposedly have a close relationship and Pastore listed Roma with Totti as club he would like to play for.

Emirates has leftover money consider we got the short end of the stick on our cash-upfront endorsement deals.

If we buy Jagielka for 18mil I will fly to England and punch Wenger. "Record signing" and "Jagielka" do not belong in the same sentence.

I'd rather Cahill for 20mm. Much younger.

How much would Samba cost? PSG will need some cash if they go through with that Pastore deal.

Well if I had my druthers someone like Sakho, Subotic, Hummels. I like Jagielka alright, not anywhere close to the price they're asking though. Cahill's price is absurd and he's no spring chicken. Samba isn't a gamechanger.

Both good, but young. Mertsacker and TV5 would be a nice CB pairing.

Mertesacker would be fine by me. I'd still take Serb Judas and Hummels over him, as well as Sakho, but he certainly trumps Cahill/Jagielka/Samba.

I meant Sakho, not "Samba".

Those three won't be sold for a few years. They need some more experience. All three are outstanding prospects. Who knows, Wenger pulls some sneaky transfers at times. We will buy a CB for sure. IMO we won't over pay.(shocking)

So... rumor that Celtic told Pletikosa to leave. I don't agree with that move if true.

Also, the Sun is reporting Blackpool, Cardiff, Celtic, and Rangers are in a bidding war for Goodwillie. He's a good player, but I don't like him. Plus, he's a bit rapey.

Two trialists played in the Celtic friendly v. Wolves: both strikers, Katlego Mphela of SA an Milos Lacny off Slovakia. Lacny is quite possibly the worst professional striker I've ever seen. Mphela wasn't helped by playing with Nott Forest target Darryl Murphy, who sucks a little less than Lacny.

On the OL front, I have no clue what they're doing. We need to re-sign Lloris, get another forward in, and settle the Pjanic thing.
