Sam Lee saying City had a £50 mil offer for Sanchez denied.
Could have sworn we offered that like a month ago

They didn't have to sell M'bappe with the money they'd already made, but they did, to their biggest rival at that. They've already made silly money, that's their club model. If Liverpool meet their price then they'll sell. Not a coincidence they just brought in a young player that plays in the exact position Lemar occupied last year. You don't see Monaco telling LFC to frick off, they're listening to bids

it would also make sense to let him be the star of the team sending his value up higher

Well they have looked at the bids and then said frick off
The Liverpool bid is insane esp with it being more than Silva.

I am SO happy City got him done first thing. That will be a bargain.
And I could have sworn there was something on r/soccer this morning saying Monaco said they wouldn't sell. Could be wrong though.

The best part of all this is for Sterling to happen Arsenal have to pay City. Talk about fleecing
Then you still need Sterling to agree to the deal. Going home to London for him would be a positive but Arsenal would have to pay him more than 200k.

Dwight Gayle to Fulham
dude just likes banging them in over in the championship.

I mean you could say this about anyone but I doubt that's their thought process considering what they let Silva go for. They'll be hard pressed to repeat last year, and there's no guaranteed Lemar can repeat that production without those pieces around him, nor is there a guarantee he'll outshine Falcao and Balde Diao.
If clubs thought like that though you'd have seen Auba shipped off to Italy and Dembele staying put so he could be the star of the team and command a figure closer to Neymar. Not saying it's definitive that Lemar comes (bookies seem to think he will) but that logic probably isn't occurring inside the club..I think most expect the market to lean back towards the direction of normal next year, 75 million for lemar is going to be hard for them to turn down

LFC have big 106 million for Lewa, per sky.

Well it makes sense. The kid has 50+ assists w/ City, is 22-years-old and has gotten better every year in Manchester. Sanchez is not worth near as much as Arsenal fans think with him being in his last year.
Btw, I don't think City are going to part with Sterling. It's known that we targeted Sanchez to bolster the attack. Getting rid of another forward would put the side back in the same situation as before. It would be a poor move, imo.

Not a sterling fan but he's twice the player now that he was at lfc

No one was willing to break the bank for Auba and BVB made like €125 mil profit on Dembele lol.
Lemar has been with Monaco since he was a teenager and scooped up from Ligue 2 with Caen. The situations are totally different.

Agreed. He gets a lot of shite, and he does frick up when it comes to finishing more than he should, but City have had 4 points saved by him already this season.
He is only 22, he is only going to get better.

Sanchez just moves him down the pecking order.
If he could finish, he would be an absolute force.

He's definitely better than he was at LFC (as stated above), but some things just never change

I thought Sanchez played on the left or centrally?
If Sanchez comes and Sterling stays these are the forwards.
3-5-2
Aguero/Sanchez/Jesus/Sterling
4-3-3
Left wing
Sanchez/Sane/Sterling
Central
Aguero/Jesus/Sanchez
Right
Sterling/Bernardo/Jesus

It's crazy, because like we saw in the Everton match, he's clinical when he just reacts and doesn't think. He overthinks what he should do way too often.
