Well Rashford has a double stress fracture in his back so forget about that

Positive from today they fought to the end and Brandon Williams is the fricking man once again

Negative Andres, I’ve given up on him

This team honestly has potential to be very good with James’ development, Greenwood, Rashford, Martial, Pogba, McTominay, and Fred.

We just need to be healthy to see how it would look

I’m worried we are going to lose Pogba before we ever get to see it.

Not sold on Fred

There is no end product

The whole situation buying him shows the issues with the club

Jose never wanted him and Ed still bought him

Thought bc City were interested we had to get him

A director of football or sporting director would put an end to that real quick

I also don’t see how OGS last after this season especially if Poch is still out there

There is no consistency, and today once again shows his lack of tactics

Shaw and Williams in at the same time on the same side is just dumb

Idk I thought the tactics were actually pretty on point today we just lacked anybody to get Martial the ball when he made some nifty runs. We had the pocket of space that Ole wanted between the back line and the midfield. We just didn’t execute properly once we got it there.

And I would say I am sold on Fred, at least that he is a solid premier league midfielder that I definitely want to keep.

We had two good spells of 15mins each

Other than that we looked slow and off the pace and were lucky Liverpool didn’t blow our doors off the start of the second half

Lol I’m not saying we are on the level of Liverpool at all. I would say we had more than 15 min in the second half though.

All I was saying is I don’t think tactics were necessarily the problem today. I liked the game plan Ole had. I just think both in general roster quality and because of injuries we lacked the quality to execute that game plan.

I think not having the quality is where our problem lays. It seemed like every time we never could complete a one touch pass to free a man. Martial steadily got into good positions but no one could find him, then he missed an easy chance when they did. I like Fred in the midefield chasing after the ball, in a proper team he could have a Kante lite role. Too bad we havent had one of those in years. I didn't mind Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams on the same side, it would have just been nice for Shaw to get froward more through the middle with Williams providing that space outside.

Also it our press lacked cohesion. At one point Martial ran hard at Alisson and he made a lazy pass to Virgil. Dan James puts more effort in than anyone but he happened to be taking this one off and if he wasn't it could have led to an errant pass at minimum.

My overall issue is our guys just dont have cohesion that you would see in games against City, Liverpool, or even Wolves. I dont know if you can blame that on the injuries, and this group not playing together, or the tactics. But they just have to get better.

Either way frick Ed Woodward and the Glazers.

Inter Milan have met with the agents of Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong, according to Sky in Italy.

The Netherlands U21 international sees his contract at Old Trafford expire in the summer and he is free to speak to foreign clubs this month.

The 20-year-old winger has also been the subject of talks over a move to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning before the transfer deadline.

Chong has made seven appearances for United this season, the most recent starting in the goalless FA Cup third-round tie at Wolves.

United has a mid-table roster with zero depth and absurd youth and is in 5th. Ole isn't the problem.

That Bruno is potentially going to be the only major signing this window when they have needed total first team overhaul for 2 is comically depressing. They've arguably had a net loss in roster talent from what was already a devoid side.

All Glazers and Woodward. No manager would be thriving in this disaster.

The style OGS wants to play has them gassed bc we have no depth

They have been selling players but not replacing them at the same rate

And some how our wage bill is still absurd

Bruno deal looks dead

Glazers stepped in a pulled the plug and don't want to pay for him.

spend 50 million on Fred but not 55 on Bruno, have to be fricking kidding me

Glazers who have no fricking clue about players or scouting making football decisions. This club is doomed.
