That Salah goal deserved to be a fricking match winner...

Yeah it did, but you know what ticks me off most about today, it's not the dicey decisions, or the questionable substitutions, it's that our fricking back 4 plays well, our GK plays well, and their first equalizer is on a just world class strike where the GK played the ball very well and we were just a bit (okay very) unlucky that Spurs reacted first

Yeah, I mean it is what it is.

I actually have a much bigger problem with us sitting off them for 45 minutes in the second half. We're at home and we need to take these games by the scruff of the neck. These kinds of crap calls happen when you invite teams on to you like that.

Regardless, never should have happened. What an awful call by the referee.

Yeah, Soccer gods apparently have some beef with us right now... whatever, we're 10 days away from seeing our boys in the KO stage of the CL for the first time in basically a decade, so I'm moving on

Couldn't agree more. Its so disappointingly unlucky.

Yeah, at the end of the day, not the worst result. Terribly disappointing, but not the worst. At least we're still comfortably in the top 4.

Yep, not much more we could really ask for, our schedule the rest of the way is pretty favorable so I'm optimistic

I was pleasantly surprised by Karius. I still don't want to see him around the 11, but where did this guy come from?

Also thought Robertson was terrific until Klopp dropped into a shell for 40 minutes. For me he's the clear cut starter.

I kinda think the verdict can't be reached on him until year's end, although I agree he will likely never be world class, I think many are too harsh on him when he just hasn't gotten consistent time between the sticks.

Don't even think this is really up for debate honestly, Moreno definitely played well earlier this season, but AR is just a better defender, was a really solid buy bringing him in

Not only that (although today his defending was magnificent), but he's starting to offer so much more going forward. Can't wait to see him settle in next year with a year under his belt.

Yep, should be fun to watch... Curious what you think this means for Moreno? Think he's going back to Spain, or is he content as the rotational guy

He'd be a terrific backup with how he's playing now. Would be great starter option when we need to push the wings up high. I hope he stays.

My problem is you over rule the man in the middle on that which is insane.
He didn't overrule the guy in the middle. The guy in the middle is the only one that can blow the whistle.

Which is kinda why I was baffled by it (not saying the call was wrong or right), but he was ADAMANT about waving it off, you don't usually see a ref be so decisive and then change it like that... It was odd

You don't think a ball being played to an offside player doesn't affect how the players played?

I do. That's why I hate the current rule.

Well, you're damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you hesitate, you get players crowding around you begging for the call.
