If you swap Wood and Dempsey position wise in this game, you would not miss Jozy.

Our style and quality do not suit a 4-3-3 with a false 9.

Are you really using Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as an example of good play?

Link an entire match instead of highlights. You can see that he isn't nearly the same person that he was in 2013

When did I ever argue that he was the same as he was in 2013?

He's clearly not at that level, but again, he's still our best striker in the pool.

Wood is a striker. He actually plays as one: he can hold the ball up and tries to behind defenders.

Deuce is a second attacker. He faces up and works in the space created by others. If he was a wing this match, he'd have tucked inside and worked under Wood in that space.

Not at all saying we'd have won, it's just another case of JK putting players in roles that don't emphasize their attributes best. Which is the opposite of what a good manager should do: put players in the positions that best emphasize their attributes and gives them the best chance to succeed.

Wood projects to be better than Jozy down the line if it works out for him in Germany, but right now, Jozy is the better option.

Agree on point 1, disagree on point 2.

Unfortunately, JK disagrees with both of us.
