Also, I spoke with US U20 fwd Mario Rodriguez from camp in Turkey who confirmed he will be leaving Kaiserslautern for another German team

eta Benno Schmitz and Oliver Markoutz are the class of this team. Those guys are good. Some of the others are decent at best, Green is interesting. Not sure how good he is at the moment.

He's got Lahms spot for 2018, no doubt. I'm really not even sure if he's ever played on the left. I don't want to see Lahm back on the left, but Jung at RB and Lahm at LB, probably puts the best XI on the field. Not always the best strategy though.
