Bradford City's Road to Wembley

Round 1 (Away) : Defeated League 1 Notts County 1-0 in extra time

Round 2 (Away): Defeated Championship side Watford. Down 1-0 after 84 mins, Bradford scored first in the 84th and then in injury time to advance

Round 3 (Home): Defeated fellow League 2 side Burton Albion. Down 2-0 for 80 minutes, Bradford scored twice to equalize and force extra time of which the 115th minute proved to be the winning minute.

Round 4 (Away): Defeated EPL side Wigan Athletic 0-0, (4-2). The match was goalless through 90 and extra time. Bradford won the shoot-out 4–2. It was the first time Bradford had knocked a Premiership club out of the competition since they defeated Nottingham Forest in September 1995.

Round 5 (Home): Defeated EPL side Arsenal FC 1-1 (3-2).

Round 6: Defeated EPL side Aston Villa 4-3 on aggregate. Bradford put up 3 against Villa at Valley Park and Bradford parked the bus for an incredible victory at Aston Villa


Swansea City's Path to Wembley

Round 1: EPL teams do not participate. Non-Europe EPL teams enter in Round 2.

Round 2 (Home): Defeated Championship side Barnsley 3-1.

Round 3 (Away): Defeated League 2 opposition Crawley Town 3-2.

Round 4 (Away): Defeated EPL team Liverpool 3-1 @ Anfield.

Round 5 (Home): Defeated Championship side Middlesborough 1-0.

Round 6: Defeated Chelsea 2-0 on aggregate. Obviously during the second leg, there was the Hazard incident, but Swansea were already up 2-0 at that point
