Team played hard and active all tournament. Really loved their energy and marking abilities overall compared to the past. Possession in midfield was great. But to take another step forward we will have to develop legit goal scorers and sharpen up passes and ideas in the box. Just way too bad there.

My Brazil folks I work with asked me in our team meeting why the USA guys in the box take so many touches before trying to finish.
I did not have answer other than they simply are not finishers. If we had some folks in the final third who had that instinct to take one touch and go maybe it could have been different.

That's been one of Brazil's biggest issues until this World Cup, though. Development of skill has a downside. We're at the point where players CAN make plays with skill, but they're scared to blow it. It's miles better than the "play it over the top and hope for the best" of the past.

Yeah that’s fair.
Honestly as a Leeds fan I felt I was watching the international version of Leeds. Really solid squad with talent that is struggling on counters and finishing in the final third.
Had a few chances that should have been put away that could have changed the complexion of the match, but did not fall our way unfortunately.
