He's Congolese, but they murdered his father so I don't see him ever wanting to play for them. He moved to America in high school.
I'd love to get Steve Zakuani but I don't think we can get him.

In that case, we absolutely need a new coach.
WTF???
Bradley played a lot of young talent in the tournaments(except the Confed)leading up to this.

No chance, if he pans out, he will get a shot with England. If not, he will play with his brother for Congo.

Tim Ream will be in our backline come 2014

If the players out there today are capable, he'll start them the next time around, even if we have better players. If you want a coach to change things, a coach who has shown a lot of loyalty to certain players doesn't seem like the way to go.

He said he wants to play for Congo, fwiw.

You know absolutely nothing. The US has always used the gold cup and other tournaments to cap the younger guys.

The Gold Cup should be a time for us to experiment.

Wow. That would be a huge get. So once we cap him, he can't play for another country, correct? And I agree, doubt we can get Zakuani.

I know the guy who continuously plays Ricardo Clark has a hard time switching away from something he previously had success with.

But that has nothing to do with the young player experiment that is the gold cup. You can grasp onto that straw all you want, your point is not valid.

So what if he experiments with some young players? That doesn't mean he won't be afraid to move away from the starters we had this time around.

All I want out of the Gold Cup is to cap lock some players into U.S. jerseys.

Gold Cup 2011 is for a place in Confed Cup 2013.
No time for experimentation.
