Lucky Luciano Vietto. Quite a lucky goal. Hit off a defenders backside from like 40 yards out and it loops in the air to beat the keep to the upper 90.

Paraguay had a few good opportunities and were in control or even the first 25 minutes of the match.

Crazy match!

Tuned in mainly to watch Roma's Nicolas Lopez play but this turned out to be one of the wildest matches I've seen in a while. That sequence was insane where the Peruvian GK was beaten but ran back 25 yards to save the ball off the line and then tackled the striker on the rebound.

Weird too that Uruguay seems to have cloned Edison Cavani.

Wow...Montenegro 1 v 1 with the keeper and hits a cracka but the keeper Benitiz deflects it slightly and then it hits the post. Wow, Paraguay has had some bad breaks this match.

ETA: Montenegro was with West Ham at some point recently.

I would agree with your assessment of it being crazy. That play with the keeper was crazy! Here is the video of it. LINK

Wow...Paraguay scores on a sweet little vertical run and tap to score.

Argentina was supposed to be favored to win this group I believe.

Close call on a possible penalty kick. Lanzini gets carded for a dive.

Getty chippy...

These Paraguayan kids are killing it! The Argentine keeper has been pretty great, but he's been put in a couple of bad places.

Yep! And to be honest the first goal wasn't really his fault. These matches have been great. I'm going to miss the Chile vs. Bolivia match, but I may DVR it to watch tomorrow.

Sidenote: beIN's coverage and picture quality is pretty damn good in my opinion.

I can't get over it.

I'm sure that the announcer is still awkwardly calling his goal somewhere.

ETA for the uninitiated:
