I'm glad besler didn't go to qpr, but I'd really love it if graham made a move. Maybe he and shea can line up on opposite wings for Stokemerica

If Besler wants to play in Europe, he can afford to wait a few years.

If Zusi wants to go, he needs to try to make something happen this season leading up to Brazil 14, or in the months after. Not many English teams are going to want to take a chance on an older unproven attacker, if he sees a chance he should take it.

You need to quit dropping broad statements. Yeovil Town and their 9k seat stadium is not the same as promotion seekers. Looking at the teams in that league, I would take MLS teams over a lot of them.

But hey I get it you like European soccer...Cool.

I'm not sure I agree with all of that statement.

if you watch the two leagues, there's really no comparison. We have a handful of guys that are capable of dominating a Championship match; Dempsey, Donovan, Henry, Besler, etc...

But overall I think the Championship is substantially higher quality, just watch a game or two, it's pretty obvious.

Can't speak to the German or Spanish second divisions.

Omar Gonzalez is sitting squarely in the middle of this dilemma right now. The galaxy are working diligently to sign him as a DP, but he has the talent and options to move abroad if he so chooses.

the overall quality of play is better, the lower teams in the 2nd division are pretty bad sometimes but those are the ones figthing to stay up. The MLS should be better than those teams.

the bottom teams are fighting to stay out of the regional leagues but outside those the MLS teams would have its handsfull with alot of the 2nd divison teams. I get to watch alot of german 2nd division and the gap is clear.

I apologize if you've seen a lot of Toronto FC...but, hey, they've won two straight matches (and DC won by two goals last Saturday)!

That was my point...right now the top half second division teams have the payroll and the talent to roll MLS teams, but at the bottom of the league I am not so sure. I think the best of MLS is mid table Championship and the worst is mid table League 1.

But I don't think that a blanket statement of every team in the Championship is better than every team in MLS is accurate.

dude i don't even, you really need to watch more of the euro game. The MLS teams would get steamed rolled by the top half of the championsip. The bottom half of the league isn't bad either outside of maybe 3 teams in the 2nd division. Mid table league one is a better assesment. Only a handful of MLS players right now would be impact players in the english 2nd divison, they keep this competivie b/c of the regulations they have on players from outside the UK must have national team quality even outside the EPL.
