However, I think Lampard is definitely underrated by the MSB fans.

Negative. I'd take Bastian Schweinsteiger over Lampard, every day of the week. Also half of Germany's team is under 24.

German national team for sure. As for Bundesliga, he's better than anyone there too save maybe Robben. However, Frank is a warrior and as much as I love Robben and as great as he's been the last couple of months he's a bit soft and not reliable to be fit week in and week out.

You are about to get fricked in the arse. I think Scweinsteiger is better than Lampard. Henderson will be here very shortly.

I'm not going to get riled up about this. He still complains about CL games from last year so there's no reasoning with him.

I will say it again though, Lampard sucks.

M Bastian Schweinsteiger 32 games: 2 goals, 3 assists

M Frank Lampard 35 games: 21 goals, 12 assists

Schweinsteiger would have a bunch of goals too if he shot the ball 15 times per game.

I think this debate is pretty well settled. I wouldn't argue with me either. Actually, I wouldn't argue with those stats.

You're right, plus Arjen Robben is one of the 5 best players in the world.

If he's not shooting and scoring, and he's not setting up teammates (3 assists, that's pitiful for a mid) what exactly is he doing?

no it's not

every year the chelsea-tards pump up lampard over every other midfielder and use his high-volume-based stats

he gives up a bunch of possession with risky bad passes

Bastien plays a different position for the German team. He will be a stud in SA. Book it.

I know you live for Internet arguments, heck I enjoy them too. However, this isn't even an argument and you know it. It's not even close. The object in soccer is to score goals. You are now trying to use the fact that Lampard takes shots, scores goals, makes risky passes, and gets assists as negatives. That pretty much shows how badly you're reaching. Stick to Robben you might be have an argument there.

Trying to argue soccer using statistics is pretty dumb.

In some cases I agree, however when they are that one sided it's pretty cut and dry. We have defenders with better numbers than those.
