Brazil will be fine if they win. I obviously can't read all their minds, but I'd guess they don't prefer the old style just because it's more entertaining, they trust it because they're used to winning with it. When they realize they can certainly win a cup being more disciplined on defense, I'm sure they'll get over how 'boring' it is.

That being said, I'd take the 2002 team with their flair anytime.

I really think the biggest reason Brazilian fans are complaining is because this Brazil team doesn't have the star power of other teams. Yes, they have Kaka and Robinho, but that doesn't compare to Fat Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

I really think the reason Dunga has Brazil play this way is because they have to.

100% agree. As talented as this team is, they're a shadow of 2002.

That may be a little extreme, but you get the point.

You would have a record of 39-6-6 if YOU were the coach.

You could just let them play, revert to run and gun.

Dunga's style will pay off if they have to play Italy or Germany, someone who knows the game as well as they do in Brazil.
