It'd probably be easier to open it up to the entire realm of college football verse European soccer.

EPL = SEC (Same picks as before)
ManU - Bama (agreed)
Chelsea- Florida (agreed)
Liverpool- Tennessee (agreed)
Man City - LSU; Balotelli = Jefferson, De Jong = Honey Badger; Kompany = Claiborne...
Tottenham Hotspur - South Carolina; well-coached, recently successful
Arsenal - Georgia (pains me to say it ); talented but fail to break through
Newcastle - Arkansas; geographically isolated, annoying fans, unsustainable recent success
Fulham - Vandy; Impossible to hate, can sometimes catch you by surprise
Stoke - Miss St; classless
Everton - Ole Miss; good history, lack the resources of the bigger teams
West Brom - Kentucky; they wear blue and no one cares about them
Aston Villa - Auburn; down this year, hemorhagging talent

La Liga = Big 12
Real Madrid = Oklahoma
Barcelona = Texas
Atletico Madrid = Okie St
Athletic Bilbao = Texas A&M
Villareal = Texas Tech
...

Serie A = Big 10
AC Milan = Ohio St
Inter Milan = Michigan
Juventus = Wisconsin
Torino = Minnesota

Bundesliga = Pac 10/12
Bayern Munich = USC
Borussia Dortmund = Oregon
Bayer Leverkeusen = Oregon St
UCLA = Nuremberg
Schalke = Washington

Ligue 1 = ACC
Lyon = Virginia Tech
Marseille = FSU
Lille = Georgia Tech
Monaco = Miami
Bordeaux = UNC
Lens = Wake Forest

Liverpool - Notre dame

Actually pretty accurate considering the last time they won was '88, and the last time we won was '89.

I do not like these comparisons at all. Not that they're wrong, but my two favorite teams being compared to Bama and Michigan just sucks.

being compared to Bama

Well I can pretty much say if there's one of these comparisons that is absolutely spot on, more so than any other, it's United and Bama. I think everyone could at least agree on that.

C'mon man, don't put Michigan in the same boat as bama.. (I root for Michigan as a distant second behind LSU)

This only makes sense if Man City somehow lose this sunday..

But I still think Auburn = City (buying wins, and no titles recently besides one out of the blue recently, this year city, few years ago aub) and LSU = Arsenal (good last decade, and good history)

United doesn't make up titles. I was going to compare them to USC or Oklahoma. Had a great run back in the day, are powerhouses now. Anything to not be compared to Bama. ANYTHING.

Oh, and Liverpool = Notre Dame.

In that case, City is LSU in my mind.

I was going to compare City to The U. Swagged out dudes with a high payroll.
