I was hoping this would be a thread where all the posts in all the Season Long threads would be re-posted.

I've decided that I hate all of the season long threads. I only check one of them and all the rest I just ignore. Makes the board seem like there is almost no activity but its really just all the info is confined to the same few threads. I wish everyone would just let those threads die and then just start a topic when they feel like talking about something.

your view has been expressed numerous times but a variety of posters, but most of the board seems to love the season long thread format.

I was thinking of making this thread because like half the board was just season long threads.
Outside of Liverpool and Arsenal (cause they have so many fans on this board), it would be better to not have season long threads.
Alternate idea: link all of the season long thread in a stickied thread and individually anchor each thread. That way, we can still have all the season long threads, but it would not clutter the board. It would only be one extra click to visit the thread, but it would improve the quality of the board dramatically.

Once the season begins, you will understand why the season long threads are necessary.

I'm not sure it's ever been done here, but that's a fantastic idea. Wouldn't be too difficult to do either.
They could use the same format for the SEC recruiting board. That's cluttered with team threads as well.

it was neat when there were like 4 or 5 season long threads. kinda got out of hand a couple weeks ago.
considering the daily leeds thread on the msb helped formulate this great board i feel we are entitled to have our own season long thread as well. goose has done a great job with the transfer thread which will die down shortly.

, but I would enjoy an N'Power Championship weekly game thread. About my alternate idea, I could send an email to the admins and see if they will listen. TD definitely has the capabilities to do this.

So stupid. Everyone will appreciate the season long threads once the season starts. There isn't many new threads right now because..well..there isn't much to talk about outside of transfer rumors.
