Germany would rather see the USA make the next round than Portugal. Germany won't beat Portugal 4-0 again and the USA is perceived to be as big a threat as Portugal is

This completely avoidable stress fest is awful. Thirty seconds away from resting key starters and coasting to a round of 16 matchup with Belgium.
