I would, but the only leagues I get on my TV are MLS and EPL.

I've had this weird fixation with becoming a Bundesliga fan but just never took the extra step to do it.

I tried becoming a Hamburg fan, and lo and behold they have been a complete dumpster fire these last few seasons.

I do, however, enjoy catching the occasional Dortmund or Wolfsburg match.

wouldn't it be fun if we divvied out smaller teams in different leagues for each participating poster to watch and then said posters wrote mini-match recaps? maybe it just sounds cool to me. is anyone else interested?

I really like the idea.

I'd suggest that any of us interested just choose a club and then catch whatever matches we can and follow the club a bit online and then do a mini progress post here and there.

Would be cool to see this for even upper table clubs in La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 like Villarreal, Valencia, Fiorentina, Parma, Marseilles, Lille since those are all on (BeIN) pretty often and also Bundesliga clubs on GOL aside from Bayern.

But I agree that it could be any clubs from Turkey or Portugal to South America just not English, MLS or Real, Bayern, Barca since all those get enough discussion here elsewhere.

I'm traveling and won't be posting much until August since I hate doing so on my phone but will definitely bump this.

Yeah I think Roma should be everyone's Italian team so please have a season thread an update it

I always start an AS ROMA season thread and I'll do it again for this season in mid-August, if no one starts one before then. Would love it if other people following Roma matches here and there posted in it occasionally.

I always follow Cagliari since I used to spend a lot of time there and went to a lot of their matches. Should be fun since they just hired Zeman. I'll post something on them here and there.

I'll think about a Ligue 1 club as well since I find myself enjoying those matches on BeIN.

yeah france would be fun since more than a lot of other leagues, that seems to be the top feeder league (i have no stats to back that up whatsoever ). or at least it's young talent to good football ratio is better than that of other secondary top leagues out there.

Proof: you are an Arsenal fan.

I would be the most interested in reading and maybe watching some of the better teams in the top leagues not counting England, Bayern, Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, etc.

I liked watching Monaco the couple times I saw them last year because of James Rodriguez. I guess it is easier now that he is in Madrid.

well, we've backed off the french over the past few years and every one else seems to have picked up our slack.

When Fox gets the Bundesliga rights in 2015, will that start in January or August?

I'll continue watching games as I always have, randomly. I have a sweet new set up with two dvr's and a roku that has dishworld on it. I can watch and record a lot of games.

Which model do you have? And is the beIN feed good quality?
I was thinking about buying a Roku and Dishworld in the near future

I like watching La Liga in general, but we haven't added the sports package since we moved back and got direcTV again, so I only really watched RM this past season.

I can contribute to some of those teams.

Hi Mrs. Ramos ... just saw you on and I figured I would tell you that I moved and am now legitimately paying for cable ... although I'm only getting about 15 channels now.

Oh, and I seem to get a writing bug once a year and like writing stuff and think about how great it will be to fire up a blog and write every day.

Apparently, that hasn't happened yet this year.

I thought we established I'm older than you ... if not, we're around the same age ... unless you recently had your fourth 29th birthday.
