I believe they said he played in 8 premier league games last year. Seems like he's hardly stepped on the field since signing with them

Even some MLS teams would make AC Milan their bitches.

Balotelli to Arsenal after this tour? Should we start that rumor?

Not areas that people typically talk about, but plenty of people showed up in Berkeley yesterday

Think you need the promise of star power or a Liga MX team to get a ton of people to show up in most areas

ETA: Didn't realize how much I missed Ray Hudson talking over Phil Schoen. Phil's trying to talk about the game, and Ray's ranting about his MLS days

ETA2: Phil now trying to talk about something stupid, and Ray is talking over him about the game

ETA San José, San Francisco, certainly aren´t big footballing areas, are they?

Not in the slightest.

Which is probably why San Jose fans have been tricked into thinking that they're getting an awesome new stadium with $70million.

Disagree. The Bay Area is a decent soccer market. It was in the Top 5 in ratings during the World Cup. San Jose gets good crowds when they play LA at Stanford. I just don't think this game was promoted very well. They sell out dinky little Buck Shaw Stadium and should draw more casual fans.

Yeah, they've had decent crowds this season, I suppose.

I've watched 4 or 5 of their games and Buck Shaw looks like it holds about 10,000, so I guess kudos to them for going to the matches despite such a terrible stadium.
