Soccer has always had this unfair affiliation with homosexuality in America. It’s time we say enough is enough and anoint it as the most masculine sport in America and reject the lgbtqiaa+ agenda.

What age range are you targeting to start developing "elite" level talent?

Pick a youth level... the answer is that one.

It used to be unfair until US Soccer for some mind boggling reason embraced it

So the reason that US Soccer is mid is because we don't have elite coaching for 5 year olds, do I have this right?

If you're an elite coach regardless of the sport, you're not teaching athletes at that age.

The marketing of the team has nothing to do with the USMNT not being elite. Us not having elite talent is why we're not elite... that's not because we wear rainbow numbers for a pair of friendlies, it's because we don't have the proper coaching at the grassroots level to cultivate elite talent.

Gay pride is marketed across pretty much all sports this month because it's an easy way to say they are doing something "for the conversation" instead of actually doing something of note for those causes.

It's an easy facade to see through.

disagree with all of this.

the inner cities is where most of the sporting talent in this country comes from. they aren't playing soccer in the hood man...and to say it has nothing to do with how the sport is perceived by that demo is shortsighted in my opinion. the cool kids in school are going to play football and basketball not 'gay azz soccer brah' ..they'll probably get laughed at for even suggesting it.

in europe, south america, africa....when kids think of soccer players, they think of ferraris, richard mille watches, and dating supermodels/celebs. meanwhile american kids think of lgbtq and rainbows when soccer is brought up thanks to the clown world officials of US Soccer and the way they have chosen to portray the sport to americans.

until soccer becomes cool in america, its not going to attract the elite athletes that the USA are known for producing. the marketing to youth in america has to change.

Lol wut?

You think the youth coaches in england are just parents or guys that took one online course to get their license?

Don’t be dumb

Soccer is cool in America. Each uear the sport is more and more popular with the younger generation here.

No amount of small minority of rain ow flags is changing that.

The WNBA pays for LGBT marketing season-round, the USMNT does it for literally two friendlies every year.

So... no.

now you're just being disingenious man. the lgbtq+ lobby is deeply embedded in soccer advocating at every opportunity. damn near every mls game has a giant rainbow flag waiving non stop behind one of the goals.

If the MLS product was better, the crowds would be no different than any other MLB, NBA, NHL crowd.

It's not hard to figure out why the LGBT crowds navigate to the second tier sports (MLS, WNBA). It's because it's easier for them to standout amongst the "regular" crowd and get itself in front of a nationally televised broadcast.

Couldn’t find more recent data, but I would be surprised if you saw a big jump after 2014.

have an upvote for that.

that dude Broski doesn't seem to have the priorities in order....he thinks viewership growth means pride marketing is having little affect but i'm talking about the USA getting to the point of winning the world cup. well that's never going to happen if the freakish american athletes are playing sports other than soccer.

the UFC has grown so quickly in america because of Dana's genius marketing. tons of guys are training now and signing up to fight despite the limited financial awards, because its fu**ing cool to be an MMA fighter.

and its cool because of how its been portrayed. it was marketed properly!

All that graph showed is that America didn't give a frick about soccer until the 1994 World Cup.

If you notice, the graph is still trending upwards, just not like it was after the 94 World Cup which was really the first time the country at large began to consider soccer as more than a niche sport.

Do you think youth baseball, basketball and football are seeing drastic jumps?

The irony here from someone accusing someone else of being disingenuous when you don't even know what the graph is telling you, but drawing conclusions from it.
