Maybe you forgot the fact that the USWNT barely qualified through a playoff for the World Cup in 2011.
The US men qualified in 2010 fairly easily at the top of their group.
Shitty performance caused by shitty tactics. We still have the easiest remaining qualifying road in our group. Tuesday is a must win, and a "prove I'm not a tactical idiot" game for Klinsmann.

Klinsmann has already proved that he no good with tactics. He should shift to a Sporting Director type role so we can get someone with tactical sense in as head coach.

Hard to fricking do when he calls up such a terrible fricking team.
Brek Shea is our only flank player. Maybe we can get Fabian Johnson on the other side. The thing that bothers me the most is how little Klinnsman is digging into the pool. Gatt was a great callup, though way too fricking late. I'll never know why we haven't called up guys like Chris Pontius, Brad Davis, and Eric Lichaj. I just don't know. This sounds ridiculous, but I think Jurgen's German and Mexican bias is hurting the team. And frick, if you are gonna call up Joe Corona at least give him a shot.
