Feel sorry for Blackpool. They were a good offensive team, and I hope to see them back. Birmingham can rot in hell.

Blackpool doesnt belong in the top flight...bye bye

Hate to say it but with that horrid lack of defense, have to agree. Hopefully, they can plug a few holes and find their way back.

I just think they are garbage...stay in the championship. They'll lose Charlie Adam this summer and that'll keep them down.

Absolutely. I really like the way they play. Their defensive players leave a lot to be desired though.

With so much on the line, this was almost as exciting as a good day in the 1st weekend of the NCAA B-Ball tournament.

Yeah, Charlie was looking around Old Trafford as if to say, "I'll be here next season."

Their defense is...but they scored 55 goals in the PL. That's about what Tottenham and Liverpool scored. Holloway knows how to play attacking football.

I know...I just don't like them or Holloway...was overjoyed to see them go down...

Goes to show how shitty their defense is -23 GD

Yeah it's inexcusable for Holloway not to try to sign some better defensive players. At a richer club he would be dangerous.

Im counting so many Barry Ferguson head ruffling jokes on twitter that I need to use my toes to continue the tally.

(he's the Birmingham player that pushed Koscielneys head in the CC final winning goal moment)

Nice.

According to twitter, Blackpool is in the Europa League because of the Fair Play thing. Did Gera cost Fulham a chance at Europe?

Yeah Gera had a moronic two-footed challenge on TV5 that could have broken Tommy's leg. It was very stupid, since they were in the lead at that point.

i didn't get to this thread on survival sunday, but

the table changed five times in the last 20 minutes, but stephen hunt

and we stayed up by one goal. before the 86th minute it was wolves -21 birmingham -20 and we both had 40 points.

as for the fair play uefa europa spot, whoever gets it has to start on JUNE 30th! maybe that's why tottenham got a winner to go to the playoff round, and why fulham got a guy sent off. blackpool might get it, and they might appreciate it as a great parting gift from the Premiership

and wigan too... i wish i got to see more of them, but every year everyone predicts them to be relegated but they survive lol great for roberto martinez who was a world cup analyst on ESPN

LINK there's the difference between survival and relegation. i think this year's relegation "class of 2011" will get the biggest ever parachute payments
