Yeah, I know some of these guys may skip it, but if we went purely under-23 players, this could be our squad.

Scott
Dest-Richards-CCV-Robinson
Adams-Mckennie
Pulisic
Reyna-Sargent-Weah

Then there's also guys like Llanez, Ferreira, Ledezma, Cannon, Pomykal...

I mean holy frick.

Maybe. Ochoa should have half a season as a starter under his belt by then.

Then what are we calling CCV?

Meh. But meh in the Championship is better than meh in MLS.

CCV is also 8 months younger.

He's so meh that no one really wants him. On his 5th loaned team since Aug 2017.

Sure, but lets not act like Robinson hasn't played half of his career in the USL in that same span.

Next month, but we're in a stacked group with Mexico and CRC.

There's a possibility we don't qualify our last few U-23 camps have left a lot ot be desired.

He is trending in a much better direction than CCV. Gone from playing in USL to MLS defender of the year finalist. CCV just lost his starting spot for a horrible Championship team, had his loan cancelled, and was sent back out to the worst Championship team.

You're putting MLS on a pedestal.

Bottomline is they are both players that are not really full-international quality and probably won't be. I just think CCV is a little bit better. And if he was truly a lost cause, Spurs would've given up on him by now.

They have been trying to sell him. No one wants to pay the ~$5.5m they are asking for.

Hard to sell someone when they are sitting on the bench at Stoke.

On current form Robinson is indisputably better. CCV keeps getting benched on relegation fodder teams while Robinson is one of the best CBs in MLS
