Hah, you're not wrong!

When I was lamenting the lack of quality, I was thinking primarily of Lovren, Lambert, Assadi, Borini, Yesil, Llori, Alberto, etc.

And then there are guys who just have not justified the price tag (IMO): Allen, Lallana, Marko, and Balo. Although the jury is still out on Marko and Lallana.

So now several trustworthy people (including Melissa Reddy) are reporting that Klopp will be in Liverpool on Thursday to finalize his deal, will be announced officially on Friday!

I'm hearing tomorrow... Also this:

quote:

.@Simon_Hughes__ - Though [Klopp] has been offered a 3 year deal, he feels this will be his only English club & could end up staying longer.

Simon Hughes writes for the anfield wrap and is pretty reliable to Liverpool football. Sounds great to me

Yes please, he can stay here until he retires, I'd be perfectly happy with that

Well it sounds like Klopp is all but a done deal. Im friggin pumped. Read on the ThisIsAnfield Twitter page that Klopp has already said he will try to sign a few Dortmund players... Fingers crossed for Reus haha Though I dont know where he would slot in. We have a ton of attacking talent/potential, and Im curious to see who Klopp would use.

What if he ends up being terrible at Liverpool? Would you still want him to stay until he retires? Sometimes, things just don't work out.

He's about 5x the player we currently have on the roster besides Sturridge and Coutinho.

He'd have know problem slotting right in LOL.

I'd take Gondegan FOR SURE.

I mean, Wenger is getting up there in age. Klopp could always leave for a bigger club.

LOL. GTFO of our thread with that BS. We realize the entire league is shatting themselves/full of jealousy.

Bigger Stadium=Bigger Club? This won't even be true for long.

Liverpool's trophy case pisses on Arsenal's man.

He could leave for Arsenal. But that would seem out of character for him, especially considering the articles I've read this week. But you're right in that literally anything could happen.

He left Mainz because he couldn't get them promoted back to the Bundesliga the year after they were relegated.

Agreed, but Klopp typically plays 1 forward... If Reus comes, would it be Reus or Sturridge? Also could see Origi getting time seeing as he fits Klopps typically preferred player. Young with a great work rate.

No need to be jelly in our Liverpool thread. Let us have our moment, we have dealt with Rodgers after all.
