It's gotta be nice having a player like Lahm. He gives you complete versatility at either FB position.
Looking forward to this summer. I'm thinking that Germany team will be pretty hard to beat. I'm not sure if Spain can keep up this incredible streak they've been on but you'd have to say that when their era ends Germany looks a pretty strong candidate to be the next country to dominate.

I can't wait to start bombarding this board with my Euro 2012 articles from a site to be named later. You're all gonna fricking love it. Or I'll make you love it.

Germany is so stacked man. In the World Cup, their one weakness was probably the center back position but they've gotten that all sorted out IMO. Also, everyone is still relatively young so if they win this Euro, they can follow that up with a World Cup championship.
I would love to see Klose retire from German soccer with a title.
Dandy is a Spainfig and I don't know about the Dutch guys.

I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I do follow the Dutchies pretty well. Though not as heavily in the last year or so.

Think he is going to be in favor over Kroos coming off his long layoff? Just saw he has been coming off the bench mostly for Dortmund since Mid April.

My father in law (to be) is Dutch, so I know a good bit about those orange bastards.
This is all you really need to know, though:
Don't frick with us, pal.

I'm gonna put 100 on Germany to win, I think. The number of games the Spanish players have played since 2008 is incredible. I think they'll be worn out, and Germany's young legs prevail.

Go ahead with your questions.

In terms of talent Götze is the better player. If he's 100% healthy, he should be fine to start. If not, Muller and Reus are good consolation prizes.

As evidenced by the pictures above, I'm more of an expert on the Dutch culture, per se.

First time ever that the Dutch have 3 good keepers?

I think how well Spain does this tournament will be determined by how they use their width. If they try to jam all their playmakers onto the field, they are going to have a lot of trouble. Spain doesn't seem to have many wide players available, or the players that were once used wide now play centrally.
Germany has lots of good playmakers too, but their players seem willing to stay wide (more disciplined).
I see width as key, and the Germans (at the moment) have better options there. Without width, Spain will have to break down teams through the center.
