Nola Soccer Leagues?

Hey guys, I have some questions that I was hoping could be answered here. First, is there season specific youth soccer seasons in NOLA, like fall or summer only? And also, since soccer seems to be the only sport that the season varies from state association to state association for high school, how do the best teams in the country from each season pay each other, or do they not? Thanks guys.

Do you mean like premier and D-1? If so then its during the school year with a winter break just like school has.

Honestly, I have no clue about soccer leagues. I don't fully understand the league system, all I know is that the school season is during basketball. But for example a hs aged kid who's school doesn't have soccer, is there a Aug-Oct or May-Aug league or anything of the like?

Yeah that would either be a Rec, D-1 or Premier league. (If thats still what the leagues are called.)
They run from around Aug-October/November and then maybe January/February-May? not so sure about the exact months.

Thanks a lot, and one last question. Are those teams that are non-school league teams usually all from the same school or are they more all star teams?

There might be more than that though because I know there is a Lakeview and lafeneire teams as well but I don't see them on the list.

I never played but I think the chicago fire teams are lafreniere. I know all the kids jerseys who play for them say chicago fire.

Yeah it's pretty recent. The only reason I know is cause I worked a summer camp for my high school and one of the older kids plays there and told me about it. It's pretty cool I want to say a player from the fire visits the kids ocassionaly but I could totally be making that up.

It has changed a lot recently, especially with the best teams nationally.
But for us generally, for club, it was start in like August with club. Play until high school. Some club players might start high school late to play a tournament. With club, coaches would start trying to organize practice as soon as some players are finished high school. Players join back with their club team as their teams are knocked out of high school playoffs. Play until state. If you win state (or a regional premier league), you go to regionals. If you win regionals, you go to nationals.
When I played, IIRC, the last male LA team to make nationals was like a U19 BR Jaguars team. Also, IIRC, Jason Kreis was on that team
