3d place matches are usually very entertaining. Two teams pretending to not give AF, really giving AF.
Especially France vs England. It means much more to both sides than anyone in their fan base will let on. It will be epic.
This! I want two teams pissed to miss the final taking it out on each other. I can envision England thinking, we went defensive too fast, let's play our version of Klopp's heavy metal football, etc.

The 3rd place match is usually a very open attacking game with not much defending.
With France playing England though, it might get a bit chippy for a meaningless game.

That makes it a non meaningless game.

I don’t have a dog in the fight. It’s meaningless in the grand scheme of the tournament itself. It’s a glorified friendly, although I’ve refereed enough matches in my life to know there is no such thing as a friendly.

As a fan I'll watch but I really don't care about finishing 3rd, that semi final loss was worse then the two Euro finals, I'll be glad of the month long break away from football
