Right now, it's 19 teams who play 34 matches. Season starts in March and ends in late October. Playoffs usually go from late October/early November through late November/early December. Some teams qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League and teams also compete in the US Open Cup, which began this week for MLS clubs.

Thanks, Glad to hear it covers most of the off season. The German league ended a few weeks ago for most clubs, and I've been losing my mind

Anyone know any websites you can stream MLS from?
ETA: Nvm above, Since there's no team geographically close to Knoxville to follow, Being I'm originally from LA and most of my family is still in Southern Cal. I'm gonna check out the Galaxy game today in the quest to find my club.

I started watching German Soccer/European Soccer first & I've been told by a bunch of guys it's like taking a big step back by keeping up with the MLS.
I'll always keep up with German soccer so all this is really is a win win regardless of the play/talent. Having another team = more games to watch, being able to talk a little shite with the buddies, and have another excuse to drink some beer.

It's easier to watch when you accept it for what it is. There are a lot of good plays but also a lot of WTF how is this guy getting paid plays. I don't really follow a team, but I do watch most of LA's games when they are on.

Has the talent got better as the MLS has evolved?
