Anyone watching? I was checking out the Nebraska/KSU game. What is happening?

1-0 Galaxy at halftime. Buddle headed in a Beckham corner.

flipping off David Beckham from 50 yds away in the stands. The essence of class.

I've started threads that hardly anyone have posted in. Beckham was making some ridiculous crosses tonight and Buddle is unstoppable in MLS.

Is getting better and better every season. IMO the MLS is going to be a real destination in the next five years for some of the best players.

Yeah, I have watched more MLS this year than in the past. It has improved exponentially. It just seems like ESPN throws it on against more popular sporting events. I mean what do you think is going to happen when you put it up against Nebraska K ST and Giants Braves?

Ive been watching a good amount of MLS this season also. The only thing that kinda sucks about it is that there isnt nearly as many goals as in EPL, Liga and others. But it def. is improving, so thats a good thing. Also most goals come from set pieces, at least thats what ive been seeing alot. Not that many in play goals.

just a lot fewer world class finishers. There's some quality play that's for sure, but I've noticed in front of goal that there isn't near the quality.

I almost never post in gamed threads when I'm watching something unless I'm watching it on the computer. I was watching this one from the couch last night. Pretty solid game, I thought. Union have improved as a team since the beginning of the year (which is their first).

I'm looking forward to seeing Portland and Vancouver enter the fray next season, and Montreal after that in 2012. Hopefully they can find another team to come in in 2012 to preserve the balanced schedule they've had this season and will have next season.

Scored on a free kick Saturday. The guy puts the ball where he wants it to go.

You can play as long as you continue to do that.

I think what you are noticing is the speed of play compared to the European leagues. Right now MLS is a tad better than the English Championship according to several people (former Ipswich and now KC Wizard Ryan Smith included). Even in downtrodden Italy most of the top teams have at least one world class finisher or playmaker. The lack of depth is what kills MLS in comparisons with other leagues. A team like San Jose can make the playoffs with a good Starting XI, but literally no one of note on their bench.
