The MLS Insider about SKC was pretty good. Pretty much lays the blueprint on how to rebuild a team.

Pretty much lays the blueprint on how to rebuild a team.
1. Get a new owner
2. Beat Man United while playing with 10 men
3. Get better talent
4. Change team name
5. Build a new soccer specific stadium

Yeah it was.
Step 1: New ownership
Step 2: Schedule matchup with Manchester United, sell over 55,000 seats
Step 3: Beat Manchester United
Step 4: Build new stadium, rebrand whole organization
Step 5: Win
Step 6: Profit
Pretty simple

SKC should use those black kits more often.

damnit.
I noticed that it looked like Zusi had something thrown at him when he was taking that corner at the start of stoppage time. Looked like a coin or piece of popcorn.

Chicago sounded like they were doing one of the Timbers chants.

Zusi got close. Should be a pretty good 2nd half.

We got fouled two more times right near the end of the game and no calls, both at the top of the box, fricking bad game though. We didn't look like a threat to score until Dwyer came in, other than one or two chances that Teal had.

Don't you guys have a Champions League game on the road next week? Kinda sucks to do that heavy travel so late into the MLS season.
Posted on 8/23/13 at 9:59 pm to itawambadog
Yeah, it will be our 2nd of two road games in the CL so it'll be a little easier after. It will be good if we can get our confidence back since we need to score some goals. Olimpia is the tougher of the two other teams in our group, though so it will be good if we can steal a point.

It's weird that they would put 2 road games back to back.
