This has been a fun, insane soccer-watching experience.

Did that go off of Frei?
ETA: Yep.

SKC up 1-0 with the early goal. Sloppy defending there by RSL.

And … 2-0. Kansas City tearing them apart right now.
RSL needs to wake up quickly.

Should be noted that the Chiefs are playing in a sold-out Arrowhead right now and every seat in CMP is filled and rocking for this game. Easy to take for granted because it's become the norm, but still incredible.

Kansas City used to be consistently at the bottom of league attendance, too. Their new ownership group has done an amazing job investing in the team and building that fanbase. Makes me excited for how we can turn things around in other struggling MLS cities. Columbus, Philly, Dallas, Houston, and especially Chicago have so much more potential than their reality right now. Looks like DC has gotten things turned around, and Columbus is headed that way.

Not sure I liked that penalty call.

RSL just wasted so many chances to take back control. Hate I missed the Timbers game the other night but this is great drama.

Anybody else not huge on artists taking liberties with playing of the national anthem?
Albeit, this one wasn't bad, I'm just not a fan of it in general.
ETA: Jimi Hendrix's Woodstock version is the only exception.

Does NYCFC really plan to not dive for the first time ever?

I got a good laugh out if that exchange too.
Posted on 11/11/18 at 4:45 pm to BlackCoffeeKid
Pretty sure that wasn't a dive.

I think Villa saw that Higuain assist last week and feels like he needs to try it at every opportunity.

Why is this taking so long? Clear penalty.
