Wow, that seemed a little unnecessary from Donovan there.

He's working on getting a red card, apparently.

Yep.

I do love it when he forgets all his "I'm the face of American Soccer" PR training and gets all bitchy.

I turn away and they are slinging corner flags.

I started getting into it in high school a few years ago and really started watching during last world cup and have become progressively obsessed with it. Last summer I watched nearly every second of the u17 wc on espnu. It was great. I spread my soccer efforts so thin though. I need to focus on a league instead of just following a few teams and broad knowledge of leagues but no in depth knowledge.

I'd pick Croatia if Germany wasn't my co home nation. I'm a big luka modric fan.

Gordon scores in the 90th minute to tie things up in San Jose.

Yeah, I decided to start watching soccer a few days before the start of the MLS 2009 season and just picked the expansion team to pull for. I've slightly expanded since then and watch the EPL and international soccer. I would like to start following other leagues but I always find a way to avoid doing so.

Yeah, Califf actually looks like the guy you see in the pub at 7:00 AM to watch a match on their PPV.

And he looks like the guy who slam empty beer cans into his forehead - win or lose - after the match is over.

I don't have very concentrated soccer viewing. I'll watch 90% of bayerns games 100% usmnt games 80% Germany's games and then watch like 30 minutes of an epl match every weekend. I struggle with the early start time and the lack of viewing options. Streams get annoying but will do it to watch my squads

Yeah, my problem is that college football and the NFL are still my two favorite sports (although soccer is catching up) and EPL, where most matches end at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and noon on Sundays work out great. La Liga always has matches starting on Saturday and Sunday afternoon so I just don't watch them much.

The early start times can be pretty rough. It has to be Tottenham or a pretty important match for me to get up for the 6:30 a.m. matches.
