Austin would also be a better choice

Bad idea. I was in Las Vegas last weekend. I wanted to go to a summer league game, but it turned out the pool parties were better.
Moral of the story. Even a sports fan visiting won't find the time to catch a game.

I'd rather watch in the climate controlled sports book.

Every time I read stuff about MLS expansion I just feel sick inside.
I wish like crazy some owner would just pull the trigger on getting things going in St Louis. The right venue in a solid location would sell out every game without question. The fan base is right there for the pickings.
One of the Cardinals owners balked at the $100 mil fee during very early exploration and I havent heard anything since.
Not trying to be a homer here but St Louis would be GOOD for the MLS and the MLS would be GOOD for St Louis. Just a shame feet are dragging. Chicago,Kansas City, Columbus and St Louis would be a great heart of Midwest rivalries.
Oh, and Vegas, for MLS? In June July and August? Yea...
Average temperatures:
June: 100
July: 106
August: 103
Thats the freaking averages. SMH. Are they going to play only night home mtches?
